The Women’s Ministry is offering a summer study where we will work through Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food, by Lysa Terkeurst. Cost: $5 for a family of 4 or less, $7 for a family of 5 or more

Rentals: Bring your own or $1.75 for regular skates and $3.00 for rollerblades.

26 people baptized at Church-wide Baptism Services May 5

21 people were scheduled to give their testimony and be baptized during the two Sunday worship services, but as the Lord moved, 5 additional people joined them on the stage to express their faith in Jesus and to spontaneously by baptized! Three families celebrated ”family-style” when the parents baptized their children… how wonderful is that?

Here at Grace, we believe we are not saved by baptism. Salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith in Christ, but baptism is the way the Bible teaches us to publicly acknowledge that we are indeed followers of Christ. In the Bible, when people came to faith in Christ, they were baptized as an outward sign of the faith they had come to believe. At Grace Fellowship Church Shrewsbury, we baptize by immersion, persons who are willing and able to articulate their own love for and desire to follow Jesus.

We want to see Jesus to do something HUGE in this generation!

Our desire is to partner with families in the raising up of this generation.

It is so beautiful to see families worship together, pray together, laugh together, and study the Bible together.

Our times together have far surpassed our expectations and we can’t wait to see what Jesus has in store for us in 2013… we are looking forward to seeing even more families come together to worship Jesus together!

Saturday Morning Bible Study – 8:30 a.m.

This venue offers a great opportunity to dig deep into the Word of God and find out what God has designed us to be. It’s also offers the opportunity to become friends with other men in the church who are willing to open up about their lives and struggles in order to live a more Christ-like life. You are welcome to join us at any time during the year and just move forward with us wherever we happen to be in the study – it’s a no-pressure environment.

First Saturdays Men’s Breakfast - 8:30 a.m.

This is a great opportunity to bring a friend or neighbor for a community time of male fellowship. We hope you will consider making this Saturday morning time with the guys a regular part of your weekend (and you will still have time for your stop at Home Depot on the way home!)

Our “Band of Brothers” is a friendly group that is always ready to welcome new faces. We hope you’ll stop by on the first Saturday of next month for breakfast and as many Saturdays as your schedule permits for the Bible Study !
